Headquartered in London and Great Malvern, one of the UK’s leading cybersecurity clusters, FARx was founded by a team of face and voice biometric experts to develop the first and only company globally to fuse voice and face recognition.

We believe that traditional security measures are no longer enough to reliably verify person identification. Thanks to the advances in AI, fraudsters can now generate entirely fake identities and bypass traditional verification systems such as, voice verification and one-time passcodes. Deepfake technology has intensified the threat landscape enabling highly convincing video and audio impersonations that now outpace legacy systems including single signal biometric checks - making it significantly harder to verify who is truly behind the screen especially in virtual environments.
That’s why continuous, biometric, face and voice recognition is essential to the authentication process. Face recognition maps unique physical facial features (such as eyes, nose, lips and jawline), while voice recognition analyses the user's voice for their unique acoustic characteristics and speech patterns.
At FARx, our fused face and voice biometrics technology coupled with specifically trained acoustic models prevent identity fraud, impersonation, and deepfakes. Our proprietary AI software combines voice recognition (who is speaking), speech analysis (what is being said and how it’s being said), and facial recognition (who is in front of the camera) to confirm the individual behind the screen is a real human. FARx continuously verifies identity in real time ensuring that the same individual remains in control throughout the session. It analyses unique vocal traits and facial features to grant access only to genuine users and can detect when someone is looking over the user’s shoulder, blurring sensitive information or even shutting down the session.
